ESH Executive

Job Location: Silvasa

Responsibilities:

  • To manage ESH programs for the Bangalore location which has both row crops breeding and Veg R&D teams.
  • To support the ESH Manager (Generalist) for Technology and Corporate functions to manage all aspects of ESH programs across multiple breeding sites – MBS Bangalore, Udaipur and multiple testing locations
  • To support OHSAS 18001 management systems across all India Technology sites
  • To support entire India ESH team to develop and implement policies and facilitate to achieve team goals in line with global ESH vision and ESH Strategic framework.
  • Provide support for ESH emergency management, incident investigation, compliance, HIRA, JSA and other site specific ESH programs.
  • Coordinate all steps necessary to achieve and maintain companies star status.
  • Prepare ESH and regulatory permits and reports to ensure Company’s freedom to operate. This includes all relevant air, water, wastewater, hazardous waste management and safety – construction and operating permits.
  • Work with site management to facilitate the implementation of companies contractor/Guest program. Includes coordination and conducting pre-construction meetings, work in progress (WIP) audits, and pre-start up audits.
  • Supporting implementation for BBS, Vehicle Safety, Electrical Safety and other relevant programs.
  • Conducting internal ESH audits from time to time and supporting business to implement a corrective action plan Prepare and deliver safety training programs related to OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, companies Fundamental Requirements and local regulations
  • Coordinating with various ESH vendors – including monitoring and PPE suppliers, etc.

Education Background, Experience and other expectations:

A graduate degree (Bachelors in Engineering preferred) and educational qualification in ESH4 years work experience – preferably in multinational company setting
