Managing the overall stock inward and outward across cold stores in India
Review and streamline processes of intake and dispatches for meeting targets
Generating and sharing timely MIS
Managing the team of logistics and cold store executives across locations
Detail planning of Intake and dispatch with sales and production team
Ensuring smooth operations at cold store with respect to machines running; labour; grading; packing and dispatches
Negotiating with vendors; fees and timelines of services and terms of payments
Procurement of stationery and packing material in time with detail plan on requirements as per season
Managing the quality of stocks in the store and handling to reduce losses due Shrinkage & Rottage
Transportation sourcing and Management. Monitor contract compliance of Carers logistic service Providers ; Evaluate trade-off between transportation cost , inventory costs & service levels to design collaborative transportation solutions )
Developing and modifying SOP’s for all the key processes starting
Developing team of experts at all cold stores to deliver best quality material and within given timelines
Introducing automation and innovation in cold store and logistics to increase efficiencies and reduce losses
Budget forecasting and work towards prudent methods to be cost effective
Keeping records of stocks; tracking dispatches; stock status and all related records; generating reports basis all records
Fulfilling compliances like Mandi License; filing returns in prescribed formats and forms to be compliant with government guidelines; Acts and rules.

SKills
Experience in large volume inward and outward auditing and evaluation .
Having good geography knowledge.
Good knowledge of SAP and related software
a logical and systematic approach to work
excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Logistics management and distribution.

some degree of IT literacy and the ability to handle electronic data
