We are seeking a skilled WEDM and Sinker EDM Programmer cum Operator to join our clients manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the production process, ensuring the precision and quality of parts based on engineering drawings. Your key responsibilities include:
Setting up and operating EDM wire cut machines to produce high-precision parts according to engineering drawings.
Efficiently programming EDM wire cut machines to guarantee accurate and high-quality output.
Independently executing defined work processes, from setup to machining.
Adapting and optimizing EDM machine programs for optimal performance.
Conducting routine machine maintenance to ensure sustained functionality.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
Utilizing Mastercam software for CAD/CAM programming.
Implementing 5S principles to maintain an organized and efficient workspace.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional machining education or certification preferred.
Proven experience as an EDM wire cut machine programmer and operator.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Strong knowledge of Mastercam software for CAD/CAM programming.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
